Shift: Day Shift

Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)

Schedule: No weekends or holidays


Position Summary:

  • Seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to oversee Labor and Delivery Services. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery, including leadership experience in an obstetric setting. This role is responsible for ensuring patient safety, effective staffing, and efficient workflow within the department.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of Labor and Delivery Services.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure quality patient care.
  • Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical standards.
  • Support care across triage, labor, delivery, immediate postpartum recovery, and obstetric emergencies.
  • Oversee continuous fetal monitoring practices.
  • Support induction and augmentation of labor.
  • Coordinate cesarean deliveries and operative vaginal deliveries.
  • Manage obstetric complications and neonatal stabilization.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, obstetric providers, pediatric, and neonatal teams.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • 5-7 years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, including managerial experience.


Certifications:

  • BLS.
  • ACLS.
  • PALS.
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification.
  • Crisis Prevention or Management Certification.


Preferred Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Expertise in obstetric emergency management.
  • Experience in high-acuity Labor and Delivery settings.
  • Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
