About Hanover-Horton High School:

Hanover-Horton High School, located in the community of Horton, within Hanover Township, and approximately 14 miles from Jackson, is a proud member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. As a Class C school offering 15 competitive sports programs, Hanover Horton provides student athletes with a robust and high quality athletic experience. We are seeking a full time Athletic Trainer dedicated exclusively to Hanover-Horton High School. The athletic trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive health care program for student athletes and other patients as needed. This role requires a strong communicator who can effectively serve as a liaison between the Hanover-Horton athletic department and Henry Ford Health.

What You'll Do:

• Provide athletic training services to our athletes at Hanover-Horton High School.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Hanover-Horton High School to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
