Summary We are seeking a highly organized and patientfocused Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support multiple outpatient specialty departments, including ENT, OBGYN, and Urgent Care. This role involves patient checkins, scheduling, multiservice coordination, insurance review, and accurate documentation within a highvolume clinical setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detailoriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient service while maintaining strict confidentiality. Key Responsibilities * Manage patient checkins and checkouts, including payments and reconciliation * Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information in the EMR system * Schedule and coordinate appointments across ENT, OBGYN, Urgent Care, and other departments * Support multistep scheduling sequences (e.g., EKG, echo, labs) * Monitor schedules, identify noshows, and support rescheduling efforts * Interpret complex insurance benefits, eligibility, and authorization requirements * Manage provider schedules, including updates, changes, and patient/provider communication * Process referrals and authorizations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards * Retrieve and secure medical records in accordance with HIPAA * Support patient flow in the clinic and act as a liaison between patients and clinical teams * Participate in team huddles and occasionally lead process updates * Assist in departmental workflow improvements using lean principles * Provide professional telephone service using standard or automated call distribution systems * Perform basic courier tasks within the facility when needed Top Skills - Must Haves * Multidepartment Patient Scheduling * EMR Experience (EPIC or similar) * Insurance Verification & Benefit Interpretation * CheckIn/CheckOut Workflow * Strong Telephone Customer Service * Medical Terminology * Data Entry & Documentation Accuracy * HIPAA & Confidentiality Compliance NicetoHave Skills * Experience supporting ENT, OBGYN, or Urgent Care departments * Authorization & referral processing * Familiarity with lean workflow methodology * Experience with ACD call systems Work Environment * Fastpaced outpatient specialty clinics * High patient volume with crossdepartment communication * Frequent interaction with clinical teams and providers * Professional, patientcentered environment * Fully onsite role located in Beverly Hills, CA 90048 What You Bring * Strong communication and empathy in patient interactions * Ability to multitask in a highvolume clinic environment * Accurate data entry and strong attention to detail * Working knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes * Comfort using EMR systems and adapting to department workflows * Flexibility for occasional weekend support Why This Role Matters As a key point of contact across ENT, OBGYN, and Urgent Care, you help ensure patients receive timely appointments, accurate information, and coordinated care.
