The Security FinancialPlanning&Analyticsteamserves as a trusted financial advisor to theSecuritybusiness,providing rigor around financial performance,financial outlook, and analyticsto guide strategy,optimizeresource allocation, and improve business outcomes.Our workencompassesmonthly close insights, forecasting/planning, usage reporting, data governance, and more.

The Security analytics role willbe responsible fordetailed performance analysis on multiple business health indicators across our major products to provide meaningful,clearand actionable insightsthat'llinformnear term andlong-termstrategic decision making.You'llpartner with multiple teamsto drivefocus on themost crucial decisionsthat'llfosterbusiness growth.

  • Own performance managementfor security products, including actuals vs. plan/forecast analysis, scenario analysis, and other trend analytics

  • Develop andmaintainfinancial models, KPIs, and reporting to support executivedecisionmaking.

  • Prepare and deliver concise,insightdrivenfinancial narratives and recommendations to finance and business leadership.

  • Embody Microsoft'scultureandvalues



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • This role follows a hybrid work model and is based in Redmond, Washington. Employees are expected to work on-site in Redmond on a regular, recurring basis in alignment with business and team needs.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
