Description

The Manager of Internal Evaluation Programs (IEP) is administratively and operationally accountable to the Director of Safety and is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of ongoing audit / process management structures within the operating divisions and departments of Omni Air International. The IEP is independent of - and separate from - the development of corporate and departmental procedures and the management of resources and serves as part of the Company's safety performance monitoring and safety assurance activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Cultivate and maintain the Omni Air International Internal Evaluation Program.
  • Manage internal audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for findings and noncompliance issues.
  • Maintain the Company's audit and corrective action database to ensure timely response from internal/external stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain annual audit schedule.
  • Assess the adequacy of managerial controls in key programs and systems.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external audit agencies to ensure continued conformance with applicable standards, such as IATA and DoD.
  • Attend compliance and safety committee meetings to brief Senior Leadership on the status of the internal evaluation program and organizational health
  • Train, qualify, and oversee a sufficient number internal auditors necessary to maintain compliance with annual audit schedule.
  • Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS) by integrating compliance insights into hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
  • Promote a strong safety, security, and compliance culture throughout the organization.
  • Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS



    • Must be able to speak, write, and read fluent English.
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Working knowledge of airline quality and safety management systems.
    • Demonstrated experience interfacing with regulatory agencies and managing audits.
    • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



    • Bachelor's degree or comparable auditing experience required.
    • 3+ years of experience in airline regulatory compliance, safety, security, or quality assurance.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of airline regulations and aviation industry standards.
    • Previous Part 121 experience preferred.
    • Previous experience with IOSA or DoD audits is preferred.

    • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines and conduct routine oral communication
