The Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Integration Engineer (Mid-Level) will support the mission of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Directorate Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Office to test the Missile Defense System (MDS) in a distributed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation environment, including MDS Ground Test (GT) events and MDS Flight Test support (pre-mission risk reduction, mission execution team training, and post-flight reconstruction), as well as M&S development and test support to other Department of Defense (DoD) Partners.

As a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Integration Engineer (Mid-Level) your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products

  • Support all phases of M&S Framework integration for GT, FT, and CDI events, ensuring build requirements and functionality are met.

  • Serve as DES-I representative during events, coordinating with integration teams, resolving framework issues, and reporting event status (e.g., EODs).

  • Coordinate communications, staffing, travel, and internal briefings to support event execution.

  • Assist with scheduling test resources and managing configuration changes, including Change Requests and software updates.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

  • Ability to work in a technically complex environment, interfacing with simulation developers, integration personnel, analysts, planners, testers, and other stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal, analytical, and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting integrated system test events.

  • Experience with staffing coordination and event resource management.

  • Familiarity with real-time distributed simulation infrastructures, MDS element operations, and DoD Operational and Developmental Testing.

  • Understanding of overall MDS infrastructure and element capabilities.
