Department OverviewThe Core Platforms & Services team is responsible for the development and operations of critical cloud infrastructure, platform services, and software services in support of Motorola Solutions' public and hybrid cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of Motorola Solutions' Global Product organization, which offers secure, reliable, and efficient team communications, workflow, and operational intelligence solutions for mission-critical public safety and enterprise markets globally. Job DescriptionAs an Engineering Manager, you will lead the Team responsible for the development and maintenance of Interfaces for the Record & Jail systems to integrate with 3rd party vendors/products. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills. You will lead the definition of engineering requirements, architecture, establish processes, and engage in planning of engineering deliverables for the team. Specific Knowledge/Skills:
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background checkadministered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. Target Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $168,500 USD #LI-RS1 Basic Requirements
