How you make a difference in this role: The Driver Services Operations Support Director provides executive-level operational oversight and strategic support to the Driver Services Division. This role ensures the effective coordination, compliance, and performance of division operations across the Administrative Office, Driver License Issuance, Commercial Driver License (CDL), Financial Responsibility, and Information Processing units. Job Overview: This position plays a critical role in monitoring day-to-day administrative and operational performance, ensuring policy compliance, strengthening internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Director works closely with Internal Audit and executive leadership to track, analyze, and report compliance and performance data that informs strategic decision-making. Additional duties and special projects are assigned as needed to support divisional and agency priorities. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Administration, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience managing cross-functional teams. Additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
