Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Patrol in Commerce, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-activity manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control entry and exit at designated points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs according to site policies.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrol observations, and incidents, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
