Job Description




As a Security Guard Armed Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and an armed role requiring Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and authorized visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed access control duties at an aerospace and defense location by verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit points, and documenting visitor activity per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs, including incident documentation, shift activity reports, and chain-of-custody entries for recovered items, in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
