As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry logs, and monitoring activity at key checkpoints and/or loading areas. You will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entrances, gates, and/or guard shacks by verifying identification, issuing visitor and contractor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing drivers and visitors to designated areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer activity by confirming appointments and/or shipping documentation, observing for irregular activity, and communicating concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting responding personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, and report maintenance or operational concerns observed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
