Your Job We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to drive the design, development, and scaling of our cloud infrastructure, observability platforms, and DevOps platforms. As a senior platform engineer, you will play a critical role in defining best practices and ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), observability (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus), and DevOps platforms (GitHub, ADO), along with a passion for building resilient and efficient platforms that empower engineering teams to accelerate delivery by following the Well-Architect Framework Our Team Our team manages Georgia Pacific's multi-cloud platforms, focusing on modernization, optimization, maintenance of cloud native workloads. We collaborate with engineers and leaders to address issues affecting team performance by implementing tools, processes, or products that streamline daily activities. This role is based in the Atlanta Georgia-Pacific HQ. The expectation is usually three days in office per week. This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
