Security Officer - Tablet Patrol Rounds

As a Security Officer - Tablet Patrol Rounds in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control with badge procedures. You will complete routine rounds, use computers and/or tablets to document activity, and deliver strong customer service through clear, respectful communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and/or beverage production, distribution and/or service location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, loading docks, receiving areas, parking areas and the property perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Control access points by monitoring visitors, employees and/or vendors for authorization, issuing directions, and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
• Complete timely reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
