Position Summary: This position will be responsible for assisting in the overall gathering, validating, and tracking of Safety Data. Flight data studies and investigations will be done at the direction of Safety and Regulator Compliance. Major Job Accountabilities: * Assist in validating and logging flight data safety events using WBAT and Tableau * Assist with flight data investigations - provide information utilizing multiple platforms (EMS, CEFA, Google Earth, etc.) * Assist in conducting safety related meetings (ASAP, Fleet Collaboration Analysis, FOQA, etc) * Identify positive and negative safety trends through various data sources (EMS, WBAT, Tableau) * Record meeting minutes for all relevant department meetings * Validate accuracy of other Department Data logs - Ground Ops damages, Flight Ops incidents, Tech Ops incidents by data comparison * Assist in creating FAA Quarterly Reports for ASAP * Solicit and process safety improvement suggestions from Flight Crew Reports, Web Based Application Tools, and Incident/Accident data * Write reports based on empirical safety data * Update weekly and monthly presentations of current and past safety data trends and provide to relevant stakeholders * Provide timely assistance on ground and aviation safety matters through Company data * Track and report SRC data requirements * Accomplish other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Enrolled in a Aviation Safety program at a four year university * Knowledge of Part 121 airline procedures * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel * Experience in Tableau or similar data analytics software * Experience with Data Visualization software preferred * Flying experience, Instrument Pilot preferred * Must be self-starter, able to work with little supervision in fast paced environment #intern The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
