Position Summary

Position Summary

The project manager will own a key Parker B2B digital platform, the enterprise API program, and the Content Syndication capability, while leading the modernization High Performing Team (HPT). This role partners with Parker divisions, sales companies, corporate functions, distributors, and customers to define strategy and set direction. Responsibilities include executing the product and program vision, prioritizing enhancements, standardizing data and digital processes, and ensuring stable, scalable operations. The Project Manager will translate business needs into clear requirements, drive cross-functional delivery, and strengthen governance, adoption, and performance reporting to enhance customer experience and commercial results.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

B2B Portal

  • Act as the Product Owner for the customer-facing B2B portal, ensuring consistent, high-quality experience.

  • Lead discovery and requirements definition, converting business needs into prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery with IT and business partners to maintain portal availability and performance.

  • Oversee day-to-day portal support, including issue intake and management, root-cause analysis and improvements.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Business Units to support operational needs and user adoption.

  • Manage onboarding of new divisions to the B2B portal, including alignment on processes, data, and readiness.

    Parker's API Integration Program

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver a multi-year roadmap for the Parker API program to enable growth, enhance customer experience, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Own the program backlog, setting priorities and managing the delivery rhythm to ensure predictable execution.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define API use cases, requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.

  • Lead API lifecycle coordination, including onboarding, versioning, documentation, access provisioning, and comms.

  • Establish and reinforce API governance, including standard definitions, data quality expectations, and consistent integration patterns.

    Parker Content Syndication

  • Own the content syndication suite, defining scope, building the roadmap, and executing delivery to distribute product content across channels.

  • Establish and enforce standards for product data and content completeness, quality, and taxonomy alignment.

  • Lead onboarding and ongoing support for syndication partners and channels to ensure successful adoption and continuity.

  • Create and maintain process documentation and governance controls to enable sustainable updates, approvals, and traceability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years managing projects, B2B portals and/or integration programs.
  • Proven ability to build multi-year roadmaps and deliver complex, cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience defining and rolling out standard processes, policies, and governance across regions/business units.
  • Ability to lead across Product, IT/Engineering, Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Able to define success metrics, track performance, and use insights to drive prioritization and improvement.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery and project/program execution practices

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP/Prince2, Agile/Scrum (CSM/SAFe), APICS/ASCM (CPIM/CSCP).
  • Scrum/SAFe experience and/or certification (e.g., ASM, CSM, CSPO, SAFe POPM).

  • Manufacturing, industrial distribution, or complex B2B environments with multi-region fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with API lifecycle management concepts.

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed global environments with multiple business units and shared enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with data governance and standardization
