Description

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provide natural gas transportation and storage accounting services and analytical support and assistance related to customer contracts and credit and maintenance of the Company's Interactive Web Site.







MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Transportation Billing Analyst I: ($57,110 - $71,390)



  • Must possess a working knowledge of business principles and theory normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.


Transportation Billing Analyst II: ($63,860 - $79,830)



  • Must possess a working knowledge of business principles and theory normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; and
  • Two years of accounting related experience.


Transportation Billing Analyst III: ($73,460 - $91,830)



  • Must possess a working knowledge of business principles and theory normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; and
  • Four years of accounting related experience.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of Company information.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Transportation Billing Analyst I:



  • Natural gas pipeline industry-related experience.


Transportation Billing Analyst II:



  • Natural gas pipeline industry-related experience.
  • Understand and apply the provisions of the Company's FERC gas tariff and contract language.


Transportation Billing Analyst III:



  • Natural gas pipeline industry-related experience.
  • Prior Transportation Billing Analyst experience.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and maintain superior customer relations with both internal and external customers.
  • Provide assistance in developing and maintaining the Gas Management System to ensure compliance with tariff requirements.
  • Process and analyze volume distribution, volume accounting, revenue and reserve accounting, including contract billing.
  • Prepare monthly fuel reimbursement calculation and reconciliation of deferral accounts. Assist in the preparation of the semi-annual and annual fuel reimbursement filings.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly system balancing reports.
  • Process and review accounts receivable activity and prepare reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze company storage accounting.
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
