Overview
The Microsoft AI - Bing Places Data team is seeking a passionate engineer to accelerate the adoption of Location, Places and POI data for Copilot and Bing Search experiences. Our team is uniquely positioned to provide rich entity data to experiences across the Bing Search and Copilot space, driving the growth of Generative AI and Agents building the best experiences for our customers. We seek a MAI - Search Places - Software Engineer IIwith a solid passion for technology, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn and share. This opportunity allows you to make a broad positive impact using a range of software tools and services, including large-scale interactive data analytics, scalable map-reduce compute, machine learning and AI, LLM models, service and data engineering, security, compliance, and service management. We develop processes to extract and create rich content from hundreds of millions of location entities globally utilizing a variety of signals and algorithms from web scraping to trusted partners. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
