The incumbent will provide engineering support for the Saegertown Facility project Rebuild Team in the areas of Production Operations, Facilities and Capital projects.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Apply engineering expertise, Lean manufacturing techniques and practical experience to the task of planning/implementing process & capital equipment improvements and troubleshooting problems.
* Basic understanding of production facility engineering support operations.
* Expertise in Chemical process operations and knowledge in coating/adhesive formulation systems and large-scale polymer synthesis is a plus.
* Must have the ability to understand operation of different types of manufacturing equipment including dispersion/mixing units and batch reaction systems.

Qualifications

WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
* Three to five years' experience in specialty chemical/adhesive manufacturing or solvent/emulsion polymer manufacturing.
* Experience with mixing/dispersion equipment and large chemical reaction systems (batch).
* Experience reading piping and instrument diagrams, electrical control schematics and loop drawings.
* AutoCAD experience a plus.

PREFERRED
* Experience with SAP.
* Familiarity with LORD Systems for production recipes/costing, quality evaluation, and product design/commercialization.
* Experience with OSHA's Safety Management (PSM) regulations.
* Demonstrated experience in the development, execution and overall management of capital projects.
* AutoCAD and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

EDUCATION
REQUIRED
* B.S in Engineering, prefer Chemical or Mechanical
