Position Summary

Manages and monitors incoming payments to ensure the company collects revenue accurately and on time. The role supports healthy cash flow by tracking outstanding balances, resolving billing issues, and following up on overdue accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Performing critical collection activities on overdue invoices, such as phone calls, emails, dunning letters, and regularly contacting customers to determine reasons for payment delays.
  • Analyzing and investigating root causes of outstanding balances by liaising with internal and external customers.
  • Processing credit memos and refunds.
  • Uploading invoices through customer portals or sending invoices to customers by mail/email.
  • Updating account information and records of clients.
  • Proactively communicating with management about significant overdue receivables and potential risks.
  • Managing credit risk by handling order blocks/unblocks and assessing customers' payment histories.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve claims and customer issues and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies and relevant regulations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree (Accounting, Finance, Business) or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • AS/400 experience preferred.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $21.69/hr to $36.15/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
