Security Officer - Driving Patrol Financial Site

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol Financial Site in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with courteous customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and/or ATM or entry locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify identification and/or authorization where required, and maintain sign-in logs and key control per site policy.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response, and communicate updates to the on-site team and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
