As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide strong customer service through clear communication with employees, visitors, and partners. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter gates to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and control entry for employees, contractors, and deliveries by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining access logs in accordance with site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, coordinating with site operations, and contacting public emergency services when needed.
• Complete routine reports and documentation such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations promptly to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is a primarily driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
