Job Title: General Clerk I- Lens Lab
Department: Government Contracts FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Government Contracts Manager/Supervisor Position Purpose: Performs duties which both provide and ensure the provision of work in accordance with the Statement of Work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility and the US Government. Primary Duties: * Responsible for operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner. * Responsible for obtaining all appropriate supplies and equipment (provided) necessary to perform all duties. * Responsible for performing all general duties assigned in manufacturing and producing completed eyewear such as, but not limited to: equipment monitoring/prompting, repetitive pulling of lens and frame stock, mail room sorting and packing of finished eyewear and general cleaning of work areas. * Responsible for cleaning equipment as instructed by the Contract Supervisor or the designated Shift Leader. * Responsible for maintaining quality standards as determined by the Government Quality Assurance Evaluator. * Responsible for maintaining a safe work area. * Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive lines of communication with various Government personnel while performing all assigned job duties. * Responsible for providing quality customer service. * Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by VersAbility Resources and the U.S. Government Experience: Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work well with others and accept challenges. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Competencies: * Reliable - Shows commitment, dedication and accountability in one's work, and follows through on all projects, goals, aspects of one's work. * Quality - Uses and established system to organize and efficiently keep track of information, data, time, and resources. * Professionalism- Works to develop and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers by being punctual and maintaining a pleasant attitude.
