What You'll Do



Essential Functions:

  • Learn core processes involved in servicing DCU's consumer loan portfolio, including how payments, account updates, and loan inquiries are handled.


  • Assist the team with daily workflow tasks such as organizing loan-related documents, monitoring shared inboxes, and supporting standard servicing activities


  • Observe and participate in account research to understand how member questions and requests are reviewed and resolved


  • Support administrative tasks such as preparing documents, reviewing information for accuracy, and helping maintain organized loan records


  • Collaborate with team members and gain exposure to cross-department communication within the Loan Services environment


  • Experience professional office operations firsthand, including teamwork, service standards, and departmental procedures



What You'll Need




  • Ability to commit to one of the full internship program periods: May 18 through August 14 or June 1 through August 21
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.




As an Intern, You Will





  • Build practical, handson experience by assisting with loan servicing tasks, account research, and member support activities.

  • Strengthen your teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Develop insight into the financial services industry
  • Expand your professional network through frequent networking and learning events
