As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify issues such as unsecured doors, lighting outages, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or public services as needed.
• Monitor access points and common areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization when required and directing individuals to appropriate areas within the property.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, escalating concerns according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
