Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol

As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Woodland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will monitor access points, observe operations on the floor and around the perimeter, document activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter, watching for conditions that may require attention and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and entry points as assigned, assist with delivery driver check-in and/or credential verification, and report irregularities according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when directed by procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift hand-off notes, and communicate observations promptly to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
