You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by post and shift.
  • Control access at entrances and restricted areas by checking identification and/or credentials, monitoring visitor logs, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and promptly report irregular conditions, maintenance issues, and potential policy violations through the established chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing detailed observations and completing required reports while coordinating with site leadership and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
