Security Officer - Armed Access Gate Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Access Gate Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will welcome members and guests, verify credentials, manage entry points, and monitor activity across the location. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and timely reporting. This is a driving post, so you may move between areas as needed while supporting a caring, people-first team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members, guests, vendors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, including greeting, screening, and directing visitors.
• Verify identification, authorize entry, issue and/or collect visitor credentials, and maintain access logs and reports according to post orders.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and cameras when assigned, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter when assigned, observing and reporting conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an unarmed & armed guard card.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
