Revenue Cycle Manager FPO - Revenue Management Full Time 88268BR Job Summary Provides direction, sets priorities, and analyzes workflow for subordinate revenue cycle activities, according to established policies and management guidance. Recommends, develops and implements new and revised procedures as needed. The Revenue Manager, under the direction of their Associate Director and Director, will provide daily management of Faculty Practice revenue management operations functions related to charge capture, coding, edit resolution, reporting, and collection of patient service revenue for assigned departments. The revenue manager is responsible for day-to-day operational management of inpatient, outpatient, and related technical/hospital revenue cycle activities. Revenue managers will oversee daily activities responsible for ensuring that their departments meet revenue cycle targets, performance metrics, and engage in best practices. The incumbent will also work with various members of the Faculty Practice revenue management operations staff to ensure that new revenue-related projects are rolled out across their department(s), compliance requirements are met, unit initiatives are implemented, and cross-staff/departmental training is complete. The Revenue Manager will directly manage a staff of 10+ coding staff and will direct oversight of processing annual charges of $1 billion+ million. The incumbent should be familiar with all applicable billing and coding regulations and be able to effectively communicate these regulations to all levels of faculty, management, and staff. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. The annual salary range for this position is $101,300-216,700, with a target entry point of $145,679+, depending on experience. Charge generation for the FPRMO is over $4.5 billion dollars annually. FPRMO supports Adult, Pediatric, and Network local and remote locations.
