Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Dispatch Driver in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will coordinate security-related response, monitor activity and communications, track officer movements, and help route resources where they are needed most, while delivering clear updates and customer-focused service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, and it is a great fit for someone who thrives on teamwork, integrity, and smart problem-solving.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Operate the dispatch function by monitoring radios, telephones, alarms, and/or CCTV; coordinate security-related response and communicate clear instructions to on-duty officers and site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating notifications per post orders.
  • Support access control activities by verifying credentials, directing traffic and deliveries to approved routes, and maintaining logs for entries, exits, and key events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, process areas, and the perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Security Experience - 1+ Years is required.
  • TSA Issued TWIC is required.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
