You will complete routine rounds, watch for unusual activity, document incidents, and communicate clearly with property teams and responders to help to deter security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at building access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity, maintenance issues, and policy concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading dock areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or unauthorized access points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
