Your Role

As a Designer with Gensler's team in Philadelphia , your role is to combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce purposeful, functional and beautiful spaces for our clients. You will bring together design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking to deliver interior spaces that are both deeply functional and experientially rich.

You will work within a highly collaborative, client-focused culture that values design quality, resilience, and social purpose. This role offers the opportunity to apply informed, user-centered design to unlock solutions that are defining the next chapter of spaces that adapt, endure, and elevate the human experience.

What You Will Do

  • You will be an integral part of our teams and actively foster a respectful, creative, and inspiring design environment
  • Support interior design assignments that include interpreting client's needs, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documentation
  • Collaborate with teammates on the selection and presentation of furniture systems, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
  • Generate design with 3D models, Revit, Sketchup or other software, create digital 3D view to communicate design concepts
  • Select interior finishes and reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
  • Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
  • Support communication with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
  • Guide and mentor less experienced teammates

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
  • 3-6 years of relevant interior design and interior architecture experience within a commercial design firm
  • Pursuit or NCIDQ certification is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Proficient with Revit
  • LEED accreditation or WELL AP is preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainability
