Patient Service Representative - Primary Care

Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience: One year of applicable medical office experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective, professional interaction with patients and staff.
* Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry and word processing.
* Excellent customer service abilities with an empathetic, patientfocused approach.
* High accuracy and attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, and data entry.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.
* Adaptability and composure when working under pressure or managing unexpected situations.
* Completion of Clinic Core Front Desk Training posthire.

Job Responsibilities:

* Greet patients, verify identity, and provide professional frontdesk support.
* Perform clerical tasks including phone management, Epic chart creation, scanning, RightFax, mail processing, and copying.
* Manage checkin, checkout, and appointment scheduling.
* Balance and close cash drawer daily with accurate reporting.
* Operate and maintain clinic equipment (computers, scanners, credit card machines, fax/copiers, etc.).
* Review communications, participate in meetings, and support workflow or Epic updates.
* Maintain a clean, safe reception and waiting area following Infection Control guidelines.
* Follow safety, confidentiality, and incident reporting policies.
* Maintain accurate EHR and patient charts.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
