We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Anesthesia Tech in San Jose, CA.

Requirements:

  • Required Certifications: BLS
  • Required Skills: Endotracheal tubes, Emergency intubations, Light wand, Intubating LMA, Draw blood via venous stick, Intubation, IV insertion, Patient positioning, Patient transport, Anesthesia machine, Anesthesia machine check out and troubleshooting, Breathing circuits, ET Tube, GlideScope, IV catheters/arterial line catheters, IV pumps, Laryngoscope blades, Standard monitors, Transport monitor/transport equipment, Assist anesthesia provider in critical situations, Operating room safety including electrical/fire/infection control, Patient transport to operating room, Room set - up for first case, Room turnover, Sterilization of equipment, Time out process for procedures, Vascular access, General, MAC, Regional, Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gyn, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total joints, Pediatrics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Vascular, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Aseptic Technique, Pain blocks, Set up IV Pumps, Positioning patients
