Early Works Construction Manager

The early works phase establishes the physical and logistical foundation that allows complex projects to move forward safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Worley is seeking an experienced Early Works Construction Manager to lead critical pre-construction field activities supporting large, remote infrastructure developments. This role focuses on planning and executing early-stage construction scopes including gravel sourcing, access road construction, work pads, staging areas, and supporting civil infrastructure in challenging northern environments. You will work closely with engineering, environmental, permitting, logistics, and project leadership teams to ensure that early works construction activities are delivered safely, responsibly, and in alignment with overall project execution strategies. Purpose of the role Play an integral role in establishing the physical groundwork that enables successful execution of major energy and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing early works construction activities including gravel development, road construction, site preparation, and pad development across remote project locations. These activities often represent the first field presence on a project and require strong technical understanding, disciplined planning, and collaborative leadership. This role provides construction leadership within the early project execution phase, ensuring that enabling infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with environmental, regulatory, and engineering requirements.
