Strategy and Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Strategy and Operations Manager to join their Growth Marketing Team. This role will manage the marketing budget, ensure accuracy across financial documents, and deliver monthly reporting to support business decisions and performance reviews. The position will also support OKR (Objectives and Key Results) planning, reporting, and analysis. This role is critical to aligning marketing operations with broader business goals, optimizing budget allocation, and accurately communicating progress against marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:




  • Manage the growth marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and accuracy in budget and goal updates across financial documents.



  • Conduct monthly business reviews and performance analyses, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management.



  • Prepare and deliver monthly marketing reports highlighting results, trends, and areas for improvement.



  • Partner with budget leads and finance teams to adjust budget allocations and maintain alignment with business priorities.



  • Follow the company's reporting cadence, delivering timely updates on marketing performance.



  • Respond to executive inquiries regarding budget allocation, goals, and performance metrics.



  • Perform weekly data checks to ensure internal reporting tools reflect accurate figures and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.



  • Implement or refine budget management and performance pacing tools to improve efficiency.



  • Provide insights and analysis to support continuous improvement.




Skills and Experience:




  • Experience in budget management, financial reporting, and operations within a corporate environment.



  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and insights.



  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience creating executive-level materials.



  • Familiarity with marketing metrics and the ability to align operations with business objectives.



  • Experience with budget tools such as Uptempo and Doublefin is a plus.



  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).



  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
