DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Risk Assessment Audit Manager, you will lead a team of professional staff tasked with the planning, management, and evaluation of risk assessments related to Commonwealth agency programs or functional areas, to make recommendations for risk-based audit work. You will be responsible for compiling work performed to maintain the validity of audit tracking and billing reports as well as performing quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with government auditing standards. Work involves the development of management and executive level reporting for internal and external stakeholders to facilitate strategic decisions about risk, goals, objectives, and initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Chief of the Audit Risk Management Division, communicating your team's progress and information related to identified risks. You will be expected to adhere to all office policies, Commonwealth directives, the code of conduct, and work toward the achievement of the Office of Comptroller Operations' and Bureau of Audits' strategic objectives.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year experience as an Audit Specialist Supervisor, Auditor Supervisor, or Audit Specialist 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of auditing experience and four years of accounting and/or additional auditing work including or supplemented by one year of supervisory accounting or account auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting, and three years of auditing experience including or supplemented by one year supervisory accounting or accounting auditing experience.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires three or more years of combined full-time experience within the following areas:
- Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book)
- Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards
- Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Standards
- American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Standards
- Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government (Green Book)/COSO
- NOTE: Any combination of experience equaling 3 years in the above areas is acceptable.
