Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Wabtec is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will perform daily duties related to delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment of component boxes and materials. You will collaborate with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving matters while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Pay: $16 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and machine testing procedures.
• Proficiency in basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience operating hand tools and forklifts is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medium-level manual labor while adhering to detailed instructions and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace by 5S protocol.
• Pull schedules for production accurately as listed.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Complete daily inbound receiving of products and packages.
• Accurately pull, pack, and stage customer orders.
• Utilize computer systems to process small package shipments via FedEx and UPS.
• Manage LTL (Less Than Truckload) pallet shipments using Oracle and customer logistics sites.
• Unload incoming shipments from trucks using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Input daily receipts into the database.
