Systems Admin / DBA

Peraton seeks a System Admin/DBA to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will administer systems and databases supporting DCDC analytic platforms, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administer Linux/Windows systems
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Perform routine backups and recovery
• Maintain system security and patching
• Monitor logs for errors and intrusions
• Support system scalability requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD

• Strong Linux/Windows administration

• Database administration experience

• Backup and recovery procedures

• Security hardening knowledge

• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell)

• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Linux certifications and/or database certifications
• 8 years of specific experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
