Position Title: Precision Water Trimming Operator
Wage: $16/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Precision Water Trimming Operator for a company in Waukesha, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Precision Water Trimming Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up trimming equipment including blades, calipers, gauges, diameter fixtures/dials, and other necessary adjustments to run machines - Set up cutting equipment to achieve the required overall brush length - Set up and maintain the punch press for fixture attachment - Pull and stock boxes of fixtures on the shop floor - Measure and check product to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, refilling coolant, and greasing equipment - Deliver finished product to the next operation - Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Precision Water Trimming Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Good basic math skills - Ability to read a ruler to within 1/32 inch - Strong eye/hand coordination - Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and handle bending/twisting motions - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
