Job Description
The Vendor Management Director will integrate and manage services across multiple vendors, manage vendor performance and drive continual service improvement for all strategic vendors within HTAS (Healthcare Technology and Analytical Solutions) . The Director will also scan the current vendor landscape for optimization opportunities and renegotiate contracts accordingly This position may be based as a hybrid (minimum 3 days/week on-site) at either Quest's Secaucus, NJ, headquarters or the Schaumburg, IL location. Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000/year + 20% Annual Incentive Plan
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership for direct and outsourced partner management teams and actively manage the relationship cycle with assigned external parties/vendors.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities to enhance operations, and provide efficient solutions allowing HTAS to meet or exceed stated goals.
- Foster and facilitate the development of relationships with current and future outsourced partners to HTAS's business objectives to achieve long term stability with the right set of outsourced partners.
- Oversee the partner/vendor selection process, contract development, and/or vetting of new partners/vendors.
- Evaluate logistical and performance capabilities and compliance assessments for HTAS vendors.
- Serve as a thought leader for identifying additional strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Define and deliver sourcing strategies and solutions by developing and executing a Strategic Sourcing Strategy leveraging centralization, automation, and onshore/offshore partners.
- Lead selection, oversight, and relationship management of several essential resourcing partnerships.
- Ensure vendor performance/delivery is within agreed upon performance targets and within budget.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to best practices for vendor/partner management and sourcing strategy across HTAS.
- Develop scalable and impactful vendor/partner solutions to complex, ambiguous, and high-visibility business challenges.
- Lead change management and communications strategy for complex business-driven vendor/partner operations initiatives, assessing the needs of the project, developing, and getting buy-in, implementing plans, and tracking effectiveness.
- Work with cross functional partners to ensure the successful evolution and execution of vendor/partner programs.
- Work on a consistently revolving set of high impact priorities and projects.
- Supervise a team of vendor management managers or vendor management specialists and be responsible for training, evaluating, and managing performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Influence decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Qualifications:
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 10 years financial services/Vendor Management/Case Load Management in an IT /Project environment with Outsource experience (On and Off Shore)
Preferred Work Experience:
- 4 years in the healthcare or technology industry is preferred
