What You Do.



  • Sales Support

    • Works closely with assigned National Customer Business Managers (NCBMs) to understand customer requirements and works directly with customers as directed.
    • Initiates and coordinates customer-onboarding.
    • Initiates internal process for customer specific/driven specifications. Returns completed documents to customer for final sign off and internal departments for filing.
    • Compiles and completes customer requests including new material information, internal specs, nutritional's, FSMA programs, and RFP's.
    • Coordinates data and customer/product information necessary for new materials and UPCs including master data and RDSM.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of customer and product information entered into internal systems and documentation.
    • Initiates and communicates change requests as needed for products/projects.
    • Coordinates and communicates with customers regarding new product launches and product testing, large test samples and plant trials.
    • Provides backup support for NCBM's, Sales Coordinator & Analyst, and customers when coverage is needed.
    • Provide recommendations for existing product lines as referenced in the finished goods list as per customer request.
    • Responsible for initiating and providing customer specific information for packaging briefs - packaging process, printed film and labels - initiate and follow up with workflows, etc.


  • Sample/Cost Requests/Quotes

    • Assists in processing sample requests through CRM tool, verifies product availability and coordinates shipment in a timely manner. May involve knowledge of confidential product formulations. Facilitates communication with R&D, Production, Logistics, and Procurement as needed.
    • Processes cost/price requests for new and/or existing products through CRM tools.
    • Prepares confidential quotation letters involving knowledge of pricing, freight rates, accruals, and brokerage to ensure alignment between distributors and end user.
    • Coordinates with other team members to clarify and assure an accurate quote letter.


  • General

    • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner, coordinating follow-up with internal teams as needed.
    • Assist in coordination of meetings, agendas, resources, and materials in support of NCBMs and customer discussions as needed.
    • Monitor and follow up on cross-functional workflows to ensure timely completion of customer and sales requests.
    • Organizes and maintains documents in corporate file systems (MS Teams, Box, CRM, etc.)
    • Run and distribute standard reports from ThoughtSpot, SAP and Fiori to support NCBM's and division needs.
    • Maintain trackers and documentation supporting customer requests, product changes, and sales support activities.
    • Acts as liaison between sales and cross functional departments, through all aspects of account management support.
    • Initiate and coordinate with finance on all new customer set-ups.




Your Education and Experience.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in office administrative role required
  • Experience in Sales Support, Operations, or Logistics Preferred
  • Significant experience and proficient at Microsoft Office 365 applications is required
