GENERAL SUMMARY:

Supports KRMC Human Resources (HR) functions by performing data entry, auditing and maintaining the relevant database. Ensures confidentiality, accuracy and integrity of human resource-related employee information. Responsibilities include tracking, researching, maintaining, reporting and communicating employee information utilizing the HRIS database and other software products. Administers and supports human resources activities including employee certifications, competencies, and New Employee Orientation. Responds to basic internal-client information requests.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the KRMC mission, vision, values and goals and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Serves as the training center contact for KRMC and helps plan and coordinate classes and instructors, submit rosters, and maintain certification courses (BLS,ACLS, and PALS) at KRMC.

3. *Inputs appropriate employee certification data into the system and timely notifies leaders of any expirations.

4. *Works closely with leaders and clinical educators on building department competencies for new hire and annual process.

5. *Performs audits on human resource information including learning assignments, certifications, and competencies.

6. Scans employee employment files in paper form to create an electronic/paperless repository; maintains employee electronic personnel files and related record keeping documents.

7. Monitors and documents various HR work processes and workflows for evaluation and improvement opportunity purposes as appropriate.

8. Coordinates and schedules student shadows and tours as requested.

9. Assists employees in person, on the phone and via email with general HR questions; directs employees to correct resources/personnel.

10. Provides backup for local KRMC HR Members when needed.

11. *Assists in planning and executing the local employee recognition events.

12. Responsible for maintaining local milestone service programs including printing, obtaining signatures and printing certificates.

13. *Organizes and manages the KRMC New Employee Orientation program and presents on Human Resources topics.

14. *Tracks and files new employee orientation forms for all new employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalency required. Minimum of two (2) years human resources, office or data entry experience required. Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP designation desired.
