The Strategic Execution & Delivery Lead will guide complex, cross functional initiatives that reshape how the organization operates and delivers value. This role ensures that major strategic implementations spanning business lines and capabilities are planned effectively, executed smoothly, and adopted successfully across the business and operations.

This role also serves as the integration point between 1LOD business leadership and enabling function ensuring that key initiatives are supported by scalable technology, effective operational processes, and a control environment aligned with Valley's risk appetite and policy standards.

Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Assess organizational capabilities and gaps, identifying the steps needed to evolve business models, operating structures, and processes.
  • Lead large-scale, multi-workstream initiatives from assessment through implementation.
  • Coordinate activities across teams including technology, operations, finance, HR, and customer-facing functions.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, resolve blockers, and keep all stakeholders aligned.
  • Develop and execute adoption strategies that include communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Measure adoption, gather feedback, and adjust plans to maximize long term success.
  • Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for redesign, simplification, and modernization.
  • Act as a change agent to implement improvements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as primary integration point between 1LOD Business leadership and infrastructure partners including Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and more.

Requirements
Required Skills:


  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of policies and procedures in the commercial banking environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of organizational alignment, operational processes, and technology capabilities.
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong level of interpersonal and social skills needed to interact with loan officers, administrative staff and customers.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.


Required Experience:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial banking environment or financial services. Experience in leading complex, enterprise level initiatives with a strong background in change management.


Preferred Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Technology, or related field preferred.
