Description Project Manager (NASA Cloud Services) Houston, TX 77058 Location: REMOTE from a U.S. based location Job Description: Anakim Consulting Inc. has an opening for a Project Manager to support projects and performance in a cloud services environment. Qualified candidates will have experience overseeing task orders following disciplined project management practices. This position requires experience with NASA Procedural Requirements and NASA Policy Directives for project management and risk management. Responsibilities include: Support the Cloud Services Office for planning, coordinating, and executing cloud services activities and initiatives across engineering, operations, security, finance, and governance teams. Responsible for managing scope, schedule, risks, and dependencies for cloud modernization, consolidation, and service delivery efforts Ensure initiatives are executed in a controlled, transparent manner and that progress, risks, and decisions are clearly communicated to stakeholders and leadership. Plan and manage cloud services initiatives including consolidation, modernization, onboarding, and service improvements. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies for cloud-related efforts. Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud engineering, operations, security, architecture, FinOps, and customer stakeholders. Track and manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, and assumptions (RAID) Ensure project activities align with cloud standards, security requirements, and approved architecture. Support transition planning from project delivery into steady-state cloud operations. Drive continuous improvement of project management practices within the Cloud Services Office Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship) Ability to obtain security access (Public Trust level) Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related discipline Equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 8+ years of related experience managing IT or cloud-related projects in an enterprise environment Strong project planning, execution, and coordination skills Experience with transformation, modernization and migration initiatives Experience with NASA Procedural Requirements and NASA Policy Directives for project management and risk management Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams Familiarity with cloud service delivery models Experience managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting cloud service organizations or enterprise shared services teams Experience managing cloud consolidation, migration, or modernization initiatives Familiarity with major cloud platforms Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., federal, FISMA) Knowledge of IT governance, change management, and architecture review processes Experience with Agile, hybrid Agile/Waterfall, or SAFe delivery models Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Position Project Manager (NASA Cloud Services) Location Leidos NASA JSC About the Organization Anakim Consulting is a privately held small company that provides growth opportunities for employees.
