1st Shift: Monday + Tuesday (2:30 AM - 2:30 PM) Fridays (4:15 AM - 2:30 PM)

2nd Shift: Monday + Tuesday (2:30 PM - 2:30 AM) Fridays (2:15 PM - 12:30 AM)

As a Paint Associate in Chattanooga, you'll be part of the team that keeps production flowing. You'll load materials, check quality, and help meet daily goals. Bring a good attitude and a strong work ethic, and let Staffmark handle the rest.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stay active and on your feet the entire shift.

What You Will Do On the Floor

• Perform visual inspections of parts on the conveyor while working from the unload platform, ensuring accuracy to meet target PPM requirements for the next production step.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in part traceability.
• Correctly unload parts from the automated conveyor system.
• Ensure all parts are protected from damage during handling and processing.
• Load parts onto the secondary automated conveyor.
• Identify defects and use handheld electric tools to polish or repair minor imperfections.
• Carry and place parts into racks for transportation.
• Ensure all parts meet customer quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork for defects, scrap, and repainted parts while ensuring full traceability.
• Stay current on rework and scrap procedures.
• Follow Work Instructions (WI) and On-the-Job Training (OJT) to complete tasks at the required pace to maintain paint line speed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all safety and 5S guidelines.
• Assist with other duties or tasks assigned by supervisors or managers to support operations, maintain the facility, and ensure a safe environment.
