Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Department: MED-Psych & Behavioral Science This position is a Program Assistant (PA1) at the Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic (CCJCC). The CCJCC is operated by Northwestern University through a contract with the Cook County Office of the Chief Judge and is the primary provider of forensic mental health evaluations to the Juvenile Justice and Child Protection departments of the Cook County Circuit Court. The PA1's primary role is to assist with the CCJCC's record gathering function, which includes completing intakes with the subjects of court-ordered forensic evaluations to identify record sources, obtaining signed authorizations for release of records, submitting records requests to community agencies (e.g., schools, hospitals, mental health treatment providers, correctional settings), and following-up on these requests until they are resolved. Timely record gathering supports the CCJCC's mission of providing comprehensive forensic evaluations that incorporate data from multiple sources. The PA1 also supports the daily operations of the CCJCC by assisting with routine clerical and administrative tasks as directed, which may include but is not limited to reception coverage (answering phones, greeting visitors), data entry, and filing. Target hiring range for this position will be between $17.05 - 23.98 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
