Business Systems Analyst (Entry Level)
Job Overview At an entry level, the Business Systems Analyst serves as a liaison between technical staff and end-users of software applications to ensure functionality and efficient use of systems supporting moderately complex business processes. This role may specialize in a particular enterprise application (such as PeopleSoft, Maximo, etc.) or participate in implementing multiple applications that support various business processes. The position focuses on analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and translating them into system specifications. The Business Systems Analyst develops competence by performing structured assignments and receives instruction, guidance, and direction from supervisors, managers, and more experienced colleagues.
