Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Systems Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of the Production Services team, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the technology platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace to build dashboards, configure monitoring solutions, and support troubleshooting for application and infrastructure visibility. Responsibilities: Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports using Splunk Enterprise to support application and infrastructure visibility Configure and maintain Splunk and Dynatrace monitoring solutions Implement full-stack monitoring, including logs, metrics, and traces Identify production failure scenarios and create incident, enhancement, and/or problem tickets Identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, and maintain metrics to drive improvement Take ownership of escalations and perform troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution Perform analytical, technical, and administrative work in planning, designing, and supporting new and existing equipment and software Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and service requests Diagnose and troubleshoot business process issues, security access problems, and data inconsistencies in applications Assist in testing and deploying updates during releases, ensuring minimal disruption Requirements: 7+ years of IT experience in production support with exposure to Level Two support tasks Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise (queries, dashboards, data onboarding) and Dynatrace monitoring tools Experience working with Oracle/Advanced PL SQL, Unix/Linux, and Autosys (JIL script) Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change management processes Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship development skills Strong problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a global team Desired skills: Experience with Liferay Platform Familiarity with JIRA and ITSM Remedy Experience with automation and simplification of tasks Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
