You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service while providing strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, and shoppers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, receiving docks, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, suspicious activity, medical calls, and/or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to employee-only and restricted areas, monitor entrances and exits, and assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and incident details, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience - 5+ Years.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• Corrections Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
