Could you be the full-time onsite Program Industrial Manager in Plattsburgh, NY, US we're looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and dedicated teammates. You'll play a vital role in shaping and optimizing industrial processes, ensuring seamless integration of supply chain and quality requirements for industrial management. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, supply chain, and quality departments), develop and implement industrial management plans, and much more. We'll look to you for:
- Setting up the Industrial organization of the program, including staffing, work packages, and tools,
- Defining or adapting the Industrial scope of the Program, including PIO (Project Industrial Organization), DAMOB (Make or Buy strategy), cost targets, schedule, and technology transfers,
- Building and managing the Program Industrial Management Plan (IMP),
- Coordinating co-engineering activities along with the PrEM to ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements and design for manufacturing,
- Monitoring Preliminary Industrialization & Logistics processes (including industrial data sheets, logistics flows, long lead time items, and facilities),
- Overseeing transfers and handover to the first Project, associated manufacturing site(s), and the Industrial Solution Manager (when applicable),
- Ensuring detailed industrialization and logistics deliverables, including work instructions, manufacturing equipment, workshop layouts, ERP master data, and line balancing,
- Monitoring Prototype & Mock-up processes, ensuring feedback loops to engineering and validating manufacturability,
- Participating in CCB (Change and Configuration Board) to validate engineering changes and manage prototype retrofit when applicable.

- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field,
- Experience or understanding of Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supply Chain, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience,
- Experience within the rail industry (or similar industries: automotive, heavy industry manufacturing),
- Preferred functional background: methods or industrialization; acceptable alternates: production or quality.
- Knowledge of project management processes and tools,
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP,
- Familiarity with CATIA software,
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams,
- Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics,
- Proficiency in methodologies such as Process FMEA and QRQC,
- Ability to define and implement industrial scopes, including cost targets, schedules, and technology transfers,
- Skills in monitoring industrialization processes, including prototyping, logistics flows, and manufacturing documentation,
- Leadership, resilience, and adaptability in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring program success.

Base Salary Range In accordance with New York State law, the anticipated salary range for this position is$95,000 - $115,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, and qualifications. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation. You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
